  The doctor did not help me. He quickly asked me how I felt and belittled my symptoms. I told him I had severe sinus pain in my head and the only thing he did was look in my nose for a second and the tip of his tool fell off as he was apparently checking. He prescribed me saline and one steroid dose. I asked him if he was sure I didn’t need an antibiotic because the pain all over my head was so bad where I felt like it was a sinus infection, he said no. I then asked him if he could write me a script for an inhaler because I am prone to asthma when I get sick and the current one I had was exired, he refused! I kept getting sicker over the next few days. I called back and spoke to a receptionist who told me that he would call me back and may prescribe an antibiotic over the phone. It took him 30 minutes to call back and I asked him if he could prescribe the antibiotic because I was feeling so much worse. I described how the pain was so excruciating that I could barely hear. He told me I had to come in for him to check my ears, so I rushed there only to be told I had to then wait and treat it like a normal visit. So I would have had to pay again and wait the 45 minutes I waited the last time because the doctor didn’t bother to do his job initially. He hadn’t even checked my ears when I first went and all he said he needed to do was take a look to see if antibiotics were needed. On the phone I told him that I would be right there and he agreed but then I was stopped by a receptionist who said him just looking in my ears wasn’t an option.
  
  I went to another walk in clinic in freehold right after because my general doctor was closed. The doctor there said I had a horrible sinus infection, my glands were swollen, and I had an obvious ear infection and he could not believe I had not been on antibiotics sooner. He literally said “you should have come to the doctors sooner, don’t ever let it get this bad” and when I told him I did go to the medexpress in Howell he couldn’t believe it. The nurse said to me I had an obvious infection and if I had been treated initially it wouldn’t have gotten so much worse. The inside of my nose was all bloody because saline is not what should be given as the sole treatment for a sinus infection. I’ve never had an ear infection prior to this doctor at medexpress not treating me and letting me get so much sicker. I will never recommend this place and will be leaving reviews on every site I can to prevent others from receiving similar treatment.
